We invite everyone to join us for a free two-part online educational series on how to help everyone in our Klamath Basin community prepare for and recover from any disaster we face in Oregon, such as ice storms, flooding, wildfires and extreme heat.

 

Day 1 – Wednesday, April 22 from 10AM-12PM

-How disasters impact communication channels and ways to stay informed.

-How to know when to evacuate and what to do when you can’t Evacuate.

-What types of backup power sources exist and how to know which one is best for your needs.

 

Day 2- Wednesday, May 13 from 10AM-12PM
-Learn how the recovery process is funded and what it means.

-What to know to set up for a smoother recovery.

-The impact of long-term recovery groups and how to get involved.

-Organizations, community groups and faith-based organizations supporting rural communities.

-Emergency management professionals.

-Anyone interested in this topic.
