Stop by this month at the Klamath Art Gallery
as we present the
Gary Wynn & Myra Schelb September Art Show & Sale!
Gary Wynn has called Klamath Falls home for many years. He studied art and art history at University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he developed a lifelong appreciation for both the technical and historical aspects of painting.Â
Working primarily in oils, Gary is drawn to the beauty of the natural world. Landscapes and wildlife are his favorite subjects, capturing the character, mood, and spirit of the places and creatures that inspire him. His paintings reflect a personal connection to nature and a desire to preserve those moments on canvas.
Gary paints first and foremost for his own enjoyment and artistic fulfillment. While his work is a personal pursuit, he is pleased to accept commissions and welcomes opportunities to create custom pieces for others.
Myra Schelb began painting at the age of 19 and spent the first 15 years of her artistic journey entirely self-taught. After that foundation, she went on to study with various artists, continuing to refine her skills and expand her creative voice.
Myra’s greatest passion is painting wildlife, with a particular focus on small birds, whose personality, movement, and delicate details continually inspire her work. She works primarily in acrylics, appreciating the versatility and vibrancy of the medium, while also exploring watercolor, alcohol ink, oil, and pastel. Over the years, she’s been a member of Gallery 803, owned and operated my own space called MJ Art Gallery both in Klamath Falls. These experiences allowed her not only to share her work in the community but also to connect with fellow artists and collectors.
Myra’s work reflects a lifelong love of nature and a dedication to capturing the beauty and spirit of wildlife through color, texture, and expression.
The show & sale continues through September 27th open Thursday’s – Sunday’s from Noon to 4pm at 120 Riverside Dr. Â
