Spotlight on Schools – KCSD Events of Note

Week of January 20

District-wide – Monday: KCSD closed, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Wednesday: NO Late Start this week. Thursday: Last day of the first semester. Friday: Grade Preparation Day, no school for students.

Bonanza – Wednesday: FFA Officer meeting during lunch. Saturday: Winter Formal in the small gym.    

Brixner – Tuesday through Thursday: Homework help after school. All Week: Connect Dental forms available in the office.

Chiloquin Elementary – No submission.

Chiloquin High – No submission.

Falcon Heights Academy/Great Basin Homeschool Center – No submission.

Ferguson – Tuesday: Konnect Dental screenings all day. Wednesday: Mrs. Monteil’s class to STARBASE. Thursday: STEAM Day; Family  Academic night, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.      

Gearhart – No submission.

Henley Elementary – Tuesday: Student Store in the Gym at 7:45 a.m. Thursday: Awards Assemblies, grades 4-6 at 1:15 p.m., grades 2-3 at 2:00 p.m., and grades K-1 at 2:30 p.m.      

Henley Middle – Tuesday through Thursday: After School tutoring, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday: Art Club, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; StarBase at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday: Hot Chocolate sold during lunch; Engineering Club at HHS, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Henley High – No submission.  

Keno – Nothing on schedule.

Lost River – No submission.

Malin – No submission.

Mazama – No submission.

Merrill – Thursday: 5th graders to STARBASE; Husky Craft Day.         

Peterson – Thursday: Bingo Night, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.      

Sage Community School – No school Monday and Friday.

Shasta – Tuesday: Term awards (K-2) at 8:20 a.m. and (3-6) at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday: SMART Reading and NO late start.    

Stearns – No submission.
