Collier Memorial State Park – Living History Day

Bringing the Logging Museum to life.

Belching stream, grinding gears, the roar of antique engines, and the chinking of horse’s harnesses will fill the air and delight children and adults alike.

Unique museum demonstrations will include: live steam engines, operating old-time shingle mill, antique engines, operating antique Caterpillar tractors, horse and wagon team, wagon rides, operating antique sawmill, chainsaw sculptures, museum tours, blacksmith demonstrations, spinning and weaving, period clothing and special entertainment.

Reminisce with the old-timers about the machines, lifestyles, and adventures they had. Experience our pioneer legacy, and discover for yourself just what sparks the excitement that makes Living History Day at Collier State Park so special.

For more information, you can contact Collier Memorial State Park at 541-783-2471.
