Great Success at Chiloquin Junior/Senior High School Art Show at Two Rivers Art Gallery & Gift Shop

Two Rivers Art Gallery and Gift Shop’s May 2022 art show was a great success presenting Chiloquin Junior/Senior High School artwork to over 150 viewers and voters who selected “Fan Favorite” winner Brandon Wallace with his work “White Squall”

Students were led in their work by instructor Cathy Nevella and 65 students in total took part in the student exhibition at the popular local gallery. A variety of projects consisted of sculpture, story-telling via alternative materials, as well as drawings and sketches in ink, charcoal and pencil. One “for the fun of it” project utilized the popular Peeps bunny candies.

This gallery showing and contest also included a sale option where students could gain experience in valuing and pricing their art and offering their art for sale. Students set the price of their own artwork, or marked the piece “NFS” also by choice. Ten students who were successful in the sale of their art included Levi Piper, Lavender Mathis, Brandon Wallace, Liam Strider, Spencer Miller, Keegan Bodine and Jason Fisher.

Gallery Director Judy Pate remarked, “Great work to all of you! We’re sorry Dalton Miller’s billion-dollar art didn’t sell” She said with a grin as everyone smiled.
