173rd Fighter Wing Dedicating New Wing Flagship

On January 10th, a newly painted jet, dubbed the Heritage Jet, will pay homage to Kingsley Field’s namesake, Lt. David R. Kinglsey, an Oregon native who died in heroic fashion during WWII saving the life of a fellow aircrew member at the expense of his own.

Along with the heritage jet dedication, and in memory of Lt. Kingsley’s selfless service, Col. Jeff Edwards, 173rd FW commander, will announce the 2020 theme of focusing on our Airmen and their families.
