This week’s pet ready for adoption is a dog named “Lizzy”.
Lizzy is a 6 year old female German Shepherd. She is a dark sable, which is brown and black all mixed together. Lizzy is a litttle thin weighing about 54 pounds.
Lizzy’s previous family said they could no longer afford to care for her. They said that she is house trained, walks well on leash, knows sit and stay, and she has been around children as young as 9 years old.
They said she has been around other dogs but Lizzy doesn’t seem interested in playing with new friends. She seems to greatly enjoy human companionship!
If you are interested in adopting Lizzy, the shelter is located at 4240 Washburn Way, Monday through Friday from 12:00 – 4:00. You can reach the shelter at 541-884-PETS (541-884-7387).
