Get Your Cigarette Butt Here; New Receptacles Ready To Take Your Butts in Klamath Falls

Watch for the new 9 receptacles that the City of Klamath Falls, Klamath Falls Downtown Association, HealthyKlamath.org and Blue Zones Project have worked together and placed around the city, to capture cigarette butts.

It’s another way these organizations are all working together to keep Klamath clean and looking more beautiful.

Blue Zones Project and Healthy Klamath applied for a tobacco grant for the receptacles after hearing about it from the city council.

Now,  9 receptacles are placed around the downtown corridor.  Be sure to pass the word to place cigarette butts in the receptables!

The cigarette butts will be sent to TerraCycle to be recycled properly.

All parties are working to keep the community vibrant and clean on our sidewalks and waterways.

See the websites below for more healthy living habits and information from HealthyKlamath.org and Blue Zones Project.  BasinLife.com is a proud sponsor of both organizations.
