The Holidays are Alive with the Sound of Music!- The Ross Ragland in December!

As the holidays continue, the Ragland brings top-notch performances to get you into the spirit! The Nutcracker dances onto the stage on November the 30th, The Chorale travels around the world musically on December 8th, the Klamath Falls Singing Christmas Tree brings a new old-fashion Christmas on December 14th and 15th and The Coats bring a vocal extravaganza on December 18th.

The acclaimed Eugene Ballet’s holiday extravaganza once again fills the stage with smiling faces of all ages as
young dancers join the Company to tell this beloved story with its grand adventures taken by Clara and Hans.
The Nutcracker brings the holiday spirit into focus, transporting you through Clara’s dreams and the wondrous characters she encounters along the way. With the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier as guides, you’ll fly away to the Snow Kingdom and the Land of the Sweets, but not before battling the Mouse King and his pirate Hench mice.

It’s a Pack Rat Christmas! Please welcome back our intrepid group as they light joy in hearts using moaners, groaners, and puns with the most beautiful music as their banner. Dan Crenshaw sings and plays the piano for 3 wonderful women; we have the fabulous Nathalie Reid returning, along with newcomers Sarah Smart & Kate Florez, and of course Dan Neubauer. This group is sure to delight crowds in this adult cocktail show.

Klamath Chorale: “Christmas Around the World”
Sunday, December 8th at 2:00pm
The Basin’s best voices, led by the multi-talented Robin Schwartz, return to present melodies, harmonies and lyrical renditions of classical holiday carols, festive Jazz and tunes of Christmas past. Klamath Chorale, the oldest and largest volunteer choir in the Basin includes in their shows large scale choral works in unique arrangements, along with solos, duets and small ensembles.

The Klamath Falls Singing Christmas Tree

The 3rd Annual Klamath Falls Singing Christmas Tree moves to its new home at the Ross Ragland Theater! This community production features a 50-person “Singing Christmas Tree” of the Basin’s finest singers accompanied by an orchestra of accomplished musicians from throughout the area. Together with well-loved guest performers, actors, aerialists, dancers, an adorable children’s chorus and Klamath County’s largest Living Nativity, they offer a bevy of holiday tunes sure to touch your hearts and bring a smile to your face!
This year’s production – “A New Old-Fashioned Christmas” – follows a modern family as they travel through history in the discovery of the perfect Christmas gift. Directed by Oregon’s own Miss America 2002 Katie Harman Ebner, and brought to you in partnership by Triad School Performing Arts and the Ross Ragland Theater. Tickets: $12

The Coats

The sound of the holiday season radiates harmony, what better way to celebrate that than with The Coats. The Coats bring their incomparable harmony and high-octane vocal extravaganza to the stage as they celebrate their three critically acclaimed and award-winning holiday CD’s! A must-see holiday show that will become a tradition for years to come! This nationally acclaimed vocal group has enjoyed over two decades of pushing the boundaries of harmony. The Coats have won numerous national awards, appeared on national television, and were even recognized by the President of the United States when they sang at the White House.
