That’s right, the Buccaneer Rampage is back!
August 31st at 11 am, the Mud run and obstacle course is located at the Newport Municipal Airport and a ticket for $10 to $45 will get you in the muddy race of a lifetime!
This year’s race will be held on August 31, 2019, at the Newport Municipal Airport. It will feature a number of challenging obstacles spread out over a few miles of muddy, steep terrain. Competitors will have to brave everything from mud crawls, puddle jumps, wall climbs and more.
We will be offering a mini-kids obstacle race after most of the adults have crossed the finish line. We want to see kids run, jump, get muddy and have a great time while conquering obstacles.
This year’s race will have timing and results for all racers. Prizes will be given to the top male finisher, top female finisher, and top overall team. A team must consist of a minimum of five participants and an unlimited maximum. We will score the three best times from a team.
Back by popular demand, we will also have prizes for the best male & best female pirate costumes. So Come Costume Dressed!
Don’t leave right after the race, we will also feature music, food, and a beer garden.
There will be a limited supply of event t-shirts available on race day.

This event is organized by the City of Newport Parks and Recreation and Ardor Adventures, A portion of the proceeds from the event go to help the youth sports scholarship program.
*Due to the intense nature of this event participants must be 15 years of age or older to race on the full course.
