The City of Klamath Falls has been working to coordinate multiple upcoming events that involve street and/or sidewalk closures. Here are a few coming up in the next 10 days!
Restoration of the Spirit Event
The Klamath Tribal Health and Family Services are conducting their Restoration of the Spirit event at the Ross Ragland Theater on May 24th. North 7th Street will be closed between Pine Street and High Street from 2:00 PM until 9:30 PM on this date.
Memorial Day Parade
The Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 27th. The parade begins at Main Street/Spring Street and progresses all the way down Main Street to Center Street then into Veterans Park. Access to these streets will be restricted from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. For additional information regarding this event please call the Chief Operations Officer at (541) 331-6219.
Graduation Sensation Parade
On May 30th the Graduation Sensation Parade will be held. The parade will begin at Main Street/Esplanade Ave. and progress all the way down Main Street to Center Street then into Veterans Park. Access to these streets will be restricted from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. For additional information regarding this event, please call the Klamath Promise Coordinator at (541) 363-6277.
Annual Fill the Boot
On May 31st and June 1st, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Klamath County Fire District 1 will be conducting their annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Fill the Boot Fundraiser. Firemen will be stationed on the sidewalk at each corner of the South 6th Street/Avalon Street intersection, as well as the center medians.
