Ponderosa Middle School College Fair For Grades K through 8!

Have you started thinking about college yet? Whether the answer is yes or no, we’ve got something to start or further the conversation! Ponderosa Middle School is hosting a college fair for students and families grades K-8. The fair will be on May 14th from 6-7 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Students and families will be able to learn about colleges located in Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada, presented by our AVID students. We will also have a representative from KCC and OIT present. In addition to information on colleges, we will have guests who will be sharing about how to start a college savings plan, information about the FASA and ORSA, and things families can do to start the conversations about education after high school, whether that be a trade, community college, or a four-year college.

Finally, what’s a fair without food and prizes!
Refreshments will be provided, and we will have four raffle baskets, including a dual credit scholarship from OIT! (Scholarship is for an 8th grader only, but the other three prizes are all grades).

Every student K-8 who attends will get their name in the drawing. Make sure to make this event one your family attends!
