Freshmen Visit Klamath Union

What’s New at Klamath Falls City Schools?

On Tuesday, just before the new school year started. 9th Grade Freshmen had their chance to get oriented to life at Klamath Union High School before they were joined by Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors on Wednesday, September 6th

The day was shorted because of a high heat index coupled with poor air quality.  Their introduction was made unique by teams of superheroes wearing capes, odd hats, and other distinguishers for groups of Freshman.

Around KU were also some kooky decorations that matched Freshman group themes.

Some students had some interesting schedule changes and other discovered that making it to their classes meant a yo-yo-ing slingshot from one side of the Klamath Union Campus to the other.

The Freshmen ended their day with a BBQ and exhaustion for dessert.  Excitement is high with the incoming class as they look forward to a brand new school finished before they graduate.

The complete orientation day from start to finish was organized by Senior student government leaders. These ASB leaders planned all of the special touches to help the class of 2021 be welcome to Klamath Union High School.
