Mills Elementary Students Receive Visitors For Reading Help
Mills Elementary Students receive a visit from local Eagle Ridge High School. They were mostly juniors and seniors in a class they call Community Interaction.
The goal of this class is to contribute 40 hours of community service before graduating. Their teacher suggested they make books and then read them to the students.
She asked her class to vote on where they would like to read and they voted to read at Mills over any of the other places they had brainstormed.
Students not only got to learn about the older students but heard how working hard every day in school until Graduation was very important.
