Join KCC, OIT, SOU, and RCC for a special announcement on Nov. 29!
Four Southern Oregon institutions of higher education invite you to join them this Thursday for a ceremony to formalize their commitment to collectively leveraging resources to better serve learners and communities throughout the southern Oregon region.
The ceremony celebrates the development of the Southern Oregon Higher Education Consortium, a partnership among Klamath Community College, Oregon Institute of Technology, Rogue Community College, and Southern Oregon University.
Presidents of the four institutions will sign a consortium memorandum of understanding at two special events Thursday, one at KCC in Klamath Falls and one at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center in Medford.
The keynote speaker at the Klamath Falls event will be Randy Cox, executive director of the Klamath County Economic Development Association (KCEDA) in Klamath Falls. Randy is an industry expert with more than 20 years of experience in the building products industry. He spent the majority of his career with Jeld-Wen, where he served the company in several senior management roles throughout the globe. Randy spent his last 10 years as Jeld-Wen’s vice president of research and development, managing over $2 billion in product lines and achieving more than 125 new product introductions. To KCEDA Randy brings a wealth of experience that will complement the organization’s focus on catalyzing the growth of traded sector businesses.
Please join us for the signing ceremony at KCC, located at 7390 S 6th St. in Klamath Falls, on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m.*
The presidents’ signing ceremony, co-hosted by KCC and Oregon Tech, will take place in the KCC boardroom, on the second floor of Founders Hall.
