Henley High School Cheer Team Wins OSAA 4A Cheerleading State Championships!

Paddy Kuhn shows the routine themed “Infinity and Bee-yond” that Henley performed to win the State Championship.

Congratulations are in order for the Henley High School Cheer Team on OSAA Cheerleading State Championships. The competition was in Portland at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, February 10th. Henley buzzed their 4A competition and took the championship over 11 other teams. With their high score of 181.80, Henley is qualified for the USA Spirit Nationals Competition later in February at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Henley has won a Co-Ed cheering championship in 2002, and this is the first time the all-girls team has won. They will be working on their Cheer routine because the National Competition has different requirements than the Oregon State one.
