Casino Entertainment in Southern Oregon!

After what seems like decades of lockdowns (even if it did last more or less one year in total), most of us are itching to get back out there and have some fun.

And there’s nothing quite like casino entertainment to get the pulses racing, and feel alive after so much time inside. With stricter lockdowns coming to an end in many parts of the world, casinos are coming back in a big way. People are increasingly finding casinos and live cards to be fun ways to get back out in the world.

Granted, casino games were never really gone. At least, not in the digital world, which made the time spent inside somewhat manageable – and even comfortable and fun – for some of us. Some of us turned to the option of online poker with friends, which can be enjoyed through a number of different platforms, with slot and blackjack apps among the most popular ways to deal cards. Playing poker online with friends enabled us to enjoy a more social experience of the game. For many of us, it was the closest we got to hanging out with old friends in lockdown.

But now, the end is near (of lockdown, that is); it’s time to face the casino curtain. Now that it is safer to be out and about with proper precautions,  live casinos are back on the table, and here are a select few in Southern Oregon.

KLA-MO-YA Casino

Masks may still be required upon entry, but don’t be mistaken: KLA-MO-YA Casino is up and running. With 340 Vegas-style slots and upscale dining options, the casino makes for an excellent choice for Southern Oregon entertainment. You can even stay the night at the Sleep Inn, to make sure you’re up, refreshed and ready for round-the-clock games.

Grants Pass Poker Room

The Grants Pass Poker Room is known for its live cash games and tournaments. It’s a place to really feel alive and mobile, after so long tucked away under lock and key. Join a game of No-Limit Hold’em or take part in a Limit Omaha Hi-Lo. For the big leagues, go in on their Deepstack Tournament, with $1,000 guaranteed for first place. It could be you…

Medford Poker Room

Dubbed (by itself) as the largest poker room in Southern Oregon, the Medford Poker Room has thrilling poker games every night, with No-Limit Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha High Low Split among the big ones. It has a friendly club atmosphere, with eight widescreen televisions, a pool table and a shuffleboard table. The social ambiance is the perfect antidote to all that time in solitary confinement.

Rain Rock Casino

Right, so this one is technically in Northern California, but it is right by the Klamath Basin, and a short drive from the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument in Southern Oregon. It is worth the trip too, with its upmarket dining options and modern facilities. What’s more, it’s situated on the side of a mountain, making for stunning views that’ll make you relieved to be in the great outdoors once again. It has 349 slot machines, with video poker and Wheel of Fortune among the favorites. Try your luck on the blackjack tables and play three-card poker for a night of (potential) winnings you’ll never forget.
