Those who long for the look and feel of a vintage European touring car, but demand the luxury, technology, solid performance and value built into the Chrysler heritage will find their dream car in the 2021 Chrysler Touring 300.

A four-door sedan with the look of a Bentley, the new 2021 Chrysler 300 Touring model, with available all-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic transmission, is a new American classic. Powerful, stylish and spacious, it’s built both to turn heads and provide one of the most luxurious rides on the road.

According to Edmunds, “It earns high marks for ease of entry and exit, a solid driving position, straightforward controls, and copious passenger space. A big trunk, split-and-folding rear seat, plenty of storage space and expansive rear-seat room make the 300, not just an excellent car for carrying passengers but also for cargo.”

The Chrysler 300 Touring, on display now at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Fall, is also a solid value and was a finalist for the US News Best Large Car for the money. The entry model begins at around $29,500 and the fully loaded 300C, which also has an optional sunroof, runs a bit more than $41,000.

Though there’s a V-6 option, the V-8, with its best-in-class 363 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque, seems more suited to this beautiful, upscale sedan, delivering performance and agility.

Outside, the look is sleek and sculptural, stylish and classic. Car and Driver said, ”Its conspicuous styling is made even more distinct by available appearance packages and a menacing 300S trim that comes with blacked- out wheels, smoked headlamps, and a performance-tuned suspension.”

One of the best features on all Chrysler 300 models is how well the roomy interior shuts out road noise and bumps, making both the daily commute and long drives a pure pleasure. On those drives, the intuitive infotainment system, Uconnect, is one of the best available, with a large touchscreen, crisp graphics, and optional audio systems.

The interior in the mid-range Limited is seriously posh, with luxurious leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and seats, and illuminated front and rear cupholders.

Drivers who choose this model could splurge a bit and add in-dash navigation and the SafetyTec Plus group, which includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, automated emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlamps, and more driver- assistance features.

That safety package is standard in the 300C, along with heated rear seats and memory for the radio, driver seat, and mirrors. The 300C package also delivers platinum-finish on the grille, door handles, mirrors and 20-inch aluminum wheels, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power-adjustable steering wheel.
